Guys, earning money isn’t a cakewalk. I work like an ass, leaving home at as early as 11-12 in morning. First difficult task is choosing the car that I’d travel in. Then while I travel, sitting on the back seat, sometime I reach office even before I finish my game on my mobile
But you know work is worship, at least I think so. After reaching office, yet another task is, what to drink - tea, coffee, juice etc. By the time I get it, finish it & start watching the TV show that I left incomplete yesterday, it’s already lunch time. Life is tough
Life keep giving you lessons & learnings. I learnt during all these years of commitment and dedication towards my work that having a glass of wine or beer before lunch in your office is very useful for the appetite & attitude
Taking quick decision is yet another key to success. While sipping my drink, I always quickly decide what to eat, what to order, to eat home food or to eat from office eatery or to order or to go out. Mind that time is the essence
Those who keep eating can never progress. Hence max, yes maximum time to have lunch is one & half hours, though generally I finish it quicker as it’s not prudent to sleep on the lunch table. Lord Budhha said “To be healthy, after dinner walk a mile & after lunch rest a while”
By the time I finish my afternoon nap, a cup of tea or coffee with cookies is essential and this is the time to connect to people. As Lincoln said “You’re a cockroach if you don’t connect to your friends & family”. I utilise this time to call my friends & family
I’m a firm believer that Change is the only constant thing in life. Now comes time to get some change. I go out, meet couple of friends, do some shopping, have some street food. But then don’t forget that discipline in life is as important as your health
Hence I come back to office by 6 to wrap up my things because I need to leave by 6:30 to reach the club at sharp 7 PM when the bar opens. Yes, punctuality is what I respect and get respect for. You can even ask the barman in the club about my punctuality
Now after working this hard and with having ample qualities like discipline, punctuality, dedication & commitment towards my work, if I earn a million or two million rupees a day, I feel I fully deserve it and society is not doing any favour to me
