If people are designed to serve,
they'll never be satisfied if they're not serving.

Pastor Poju
Malachi 3:14-18
Hebrews 9:14

It's important to understand what it means to serve. People can be engaged in dead works thinking they're serving God.

Clarity + Simplicity + Alignment = multiplication.

A leader must be able to communicate, or they're not even leaders.
It's important that there's clarity, that every single person has a clear understanding of what the objectives are, and that they're aligned. Then there will be multiplication.

In leadership, the vision has to be made clear.
Vision - what needs to be achieved and how to do it.
The vision is clear only in the head of the leaders. Followers make mistakes because it is not clear to them.

Habakkuk 2:1,2

The energy level of people will increase as their clarity of the vision increases.
You can't scale something that's ambiguous.

You can't multiply something that's not clear.
Understanding the hierarchy of work -
Genesis 18.19-21

Sometimes people on the outside can see what you on the inside can't see.
The fact that your coach doesn't play doesn't know what you should do.

It's important that you don't operate in pride.
Jethro counselled Moses.
If you want to succeed, come down from your high horse.

"My mother came into church and told me "your only problem is that people can't hear your voice."
Exodus 18:20
Colossians 1:9-10

The major work in the church is that people must be taught the ordinances according to their affairs and they must be taught what their service to God must be.
The principal work of the pastor is to teach the ordinances of God so people can get practical answers for their life affairs.

Afterwards, the pastor must delegate the work of pastoral care to smaller groups.
The giving of care is massive in the sight of God. Belonging to support structure, and offering spiritual support in prayers is very important in the sight of God.

People's dependency on you should not dictate your identity in ministry.
When people have soul ties, critical decisions cannot be made. Consequently, the organisation cannot grow.
There's skill you bring to an organisation and there's the culture of that organisation. No matter what your level of skill is, you won't get promoted if you don't understand the culture. That's a red flag.
If the culture of an organisation is destroyed, that organisation will be destroyed. There must be a group of the people in the organization who have institutional memory, who preserve the culture.
Many people don't get promoted not because they're not skillful but because they violate the organisational culture.

Culture takes years to build.
You're the salt of the earth.

Salt is not seen but it preserves things.
