Just a reminder that CNN tried to hire a Trump political operative with no journalistic experience to run their political coverage.
There was enough backlash that now she’s a commentator rather than the editor; nevertheless, the attempt ought to be taken as a statement of intent.
Yet conservatives still believe in liberal media bias with a fervor they usually reserve for Jesus’ blondness.
Journalists do great work and are vital to a free society.

Seek them out.

Turn off cable news and never turn it back on again.

The thing I was trying to get at with all of this that I wish I'd led with, so I'll just put it here:

They aren't trying to delegitimize the Mueller investigation.

They're trying to delegitimize the very idea of investigation itself.
Just as the Trump administration began by immediately trying to demolish even the notion of knowable truth, with their "alternative facts" and crowd sizes and Bowling Green Massacre ... washingtonpost.com/blogs/erik-wem…
...now they're attacking the very notion of oversight and investigation.

They're conflating the Barr memo with the report, so they can point to the report as a primary source.

So, wherever the report differs from the memo, it will impugn the report, not the memo.

I can't imagine having this level of confidence in our system.

If they get caught lying, they'll just tell a lie about the lie.

Obviously. OBVIOUSLY.
They spent the last day equating the Barr summary with the Mueller report and way more than the necessary critical mass of media went with it.

They'll do that for another week until it's something people are premising assumptions on.

Then they'll just lie.
If the Mueller report comes out and it differs from the Barr summary, they'll point to the discrepancy as proof the Mueller report is wrong, biased, or fake.

And that will be reported, because again it IS one of two sides.

#Turkish Intel-Investigative Bodies also have the list of all Diplomatic & Private Saudi & “other significant’ Planes in #Turkey for the period of ‘interest.’ Many of the Target airports have their own security cameras & related evidence.
