1)Tuesday's were spectacular to me when I was growing up. They were days I got new outfits. A day when my older sister will jet out to ASWANI MARKET before dawn to scurry for second hand clothes.

2) She will diligently pick out the best for both of us. I wore those outfits respectfully because they preserved us from shame.

3) I also remember when I used to borrow her suits and shoes to serve diligently at the protocol department in church. Well, the kindness didn't come that easy, I had to be of good behaviour during the week to receive favour from the queen.

4) Finally, I remember the first day we packed into our house in Mushin about twenty years ago. My mum and I had to sit on the floor because we couldn't afford any flavour of furniture. All we could afford was good education and feeding.

5) With hindsight, all I can say now is 'the process is the content'.

I am grateful for those humbling experiences that have molded me into an empowering meaning making machine.
