Fashion designers: Pockets are UNSIGHTLY, women don't want to BULGE.
Me: And then I managed to stuff three live bullfrogs inside my shirt and it looked like I had five tits.
And then I went to the grocery store and there's at least one small child in Concord, CA who thinks some women come with extra, migratory breasts.
Things I have put in my pockets, when they were roomy enough, and in my bra, when they were not: live frogs, snakes, lizards, newts, salamanders, birds, hedgehogs, kittens, and once, a coyote pup.

Please don't tweet me with your headcanons and plot ideas. I can't accept any concepts offered to me on this platform.
Like, seriously. "I think Gwen should punch someone" or "I think Toby should get stabbed," I'm still going to tell the stories I'm going to tell. But "Gwen should get a corgi puppy" or "Toby should go to Scotland," I will go out of my way to avoid those narratives.
If you do this more than once, after I have asked nicely that you don't do it, I will have to block you for my own protection.

April: ALIEN: ECHO, written under the Mira Grant byline. I become part of the glorious tapestry that is ALIEN! I make my official YA debut, which may unlock some of the YA books I've written over the years! Angry men tell me my existence has killed the franchise!
(It's been kinda fun, how many pissed-off dudes--and they've all been dudes--have told me that I, personally, am responsible for the demise of ALIEN as a viable horror property, because I wrote a young adult novel.)
(As if the golden age of horror movies weren't roughly the same as the golden age of science fiction? Twelve to sixteen. I was way less interested in penetration that didn't involve knives or ovipositors at that age than I was in watching monsters eat people.)

#Breaking - Some defense sources report #Indian air strikes across the Line of Control in Muzafarabad, #Pakistan. Indian air force briefing expected later today. Pakistan said Indian jets dropped their payloads & "fled". More confirmation of details needed.
There are also reports of dual, air and ground Indian strikes in Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir. No official word yet. Waiting for updates. Stay tuned.
There are also reports that 2 Pakistani JF-17s fighter jets have been shot down.
