We downloaded original tweets containing Soros, Nazi, and collaborator/collaborators, yielding 17339 tweets from 9077 accounts since 2008. The first 20 accounts and their first tweets on the topic are shown. 
Spikes in tweets containing theories about George Soros being a Nazi collaborator line up with several major events/news stories: the Charlottesville terrorist attack, several US elections, and the Parkland shooting (among others.)
What media sources are linked from tweets about Soros being a Nazi collaborator? Mostly right-wing conspiracy sites, with Infowars in the top spot and @PamelaGeller's site putting in a guest appearance. The exception is Snopes, which turns up due to their debunking of the theory.
Let's take a look at automation. Of 9077 accounts, 359 (4.0%) responsible for 597 of 17339 tweets (3.4%), are mostly/fully automated (24/7 activity/90% of tweets via apps/services). An additional 428 (4.7%) accounts automated their Soros/Nazi tweets (1109 tweets/6.4% of total).
Multiple botnets turn up when one digs into the automated accounts with Soros/Nazi collaborator tweets. Some highlights:
- a group of 12 bots linking fake news site beforeitsnews stopped posting in 2013
- multiple groups of bots spamming Gateway Pundit articles

One other intriguing automated account that surfaces in the Soros/Nazi collaborator dataset: @JournalNEO, official Twitter feed of New Eastern Outlook, a publication of the Russian Academy of Sciences. This account promotes both NEO's own material and several fringe news sources.
