Our attention has been drawn to a message circulating on WhatsApp and this tweet, purporting that there is a suspected #Lassafever case in the Asokoro District Hospital. This is entirely FALSE.
The recent national #Lassafever situation report indicates there has been no confirmed Lassa fever case in the FCT since February 2019. Contrary to the message being circulated, no death has been recorded from Lassa fever in the FCT this month. Available: ncdc.gov.ng/diseases/sitre…
The NCDC appreciates Nigerians for bringing this rumour to our notice. We urge everyone to stay alert for #Lassafever, know the symptoms and report immediately to a health facility when symptoms are observed, to increase the chances of survival.

Thread: A friend of mine struggled through rounds of IVF to become pregnant. When she finally succeeded, she had to make the heartbreaking decision at 22 weeks to terminate because she found out her baby would not survive post birth. Her son has a name and a resting place. #sotu
For cis male legislators to ignore heartbreaking stories like hers in order to propogate a bullshit narrative of 'baby murder' is just disgusting. She would have done anything to save the life of her son, but she couldn't. She grieves for him everyday.
Hers is just one of the many stories of birth parents who require terminations in the second trimester and beyond, all of which still only account for fewer than 2% of abortions. It is a reprehensible abuse to turn the stories of these women into a narrative of inhumanity.

Planned Parenthood wants you to think it only kills babies occasionally.

It has claimed that abortion makes up just 3% of the services it provides, as if snuffing out the lives of unborn children sporadically somehow makes it more excusable morally.

For years, it has guarded the 3% figure & a complicit press has reprinted it uncritically. #CecileRichards repeated it during congressional testimony. Journalists at CNN, Politico & NYT publish it w/out qualification. It's repeated so often, it has become an ironclad lie.
Unraveling the truth would be a disaster for Planned Parenthood. Congress might not write it as many taxpayer checks if the public learned that the largest abortion provider does, in fact, make its money by performing abortions — 328,348 abortions a year.

Now let's break this down into two types of niche within #fooddelivery and #fnb industry.

1. You own the restaurant and you are providing an additional delivery #service.

2. You don't own any restaurant and you are merely the delivery service.

The two are very different!
To help put points into perspective:

#1 is a classic example of pizza stores such as @DominosMY. Any #eatery can set up its own delivery system.

#2 is a rather new invention. Such examples would be @foodpanda_my and @GrabMY's GrabFood service!

Dad was detained in a #Texas detention center where @RAICESTEXAS consulted. Dad accepted a deportation to be quickly reunited w/ his infant child. However, the Dad was deported & NOT his child. The now 8-month-old baby has been in ORR custody for 4 months. #EndFamilySeparation
