1) we have always been at war with Eurasia
#Brexit is frustrating but key is not only the gaslighting by Brexiters on the SM but the *utter willingness* of Brexit voters to be gaslighted

2) he was stressing this point about how the term "access to the Single Market" was meaningless, that only membership mattered or had any meaning.
The IFS were saying the same thing.
Why? Because Vote Leave has consistently promised "access to the SM"

3) this was everywhere pre ref. We wouldn't need "membership" because Vote Leave guaranteed we'd have "access" after #Brexit

Fast forward 3 years, now the ERG have whitewashed this & are saying "everyone voted for WTO"

And many hardcore leave voters are saying "yes, yes I did"

4) but in an even more bizarre twist, Corbyn's Labour has picked up the baton from Vote Leave.

"Access to" has become "Dynamic alignment with"

You can imagine a (slightly exasperated) Prof Dougan explaining in a clip "no, sorry, there's no such concept as 'Dynamic alignment'"

5) this bait & switch in broad daylight has been incredible to behold:

Vote Leave:"Leaving is easy & cost free because we'll have access to the SM"

Experts:"No, we won't, that's meaningless"

ERG:"well, we never promised that,we promised WTO"

Labour:"we'll promise it though"
