Asked today abt why SCO team members might be speaking out against his brief summary of the Mueller Report, Barr said he 'imagined' it was b/c "they wanted more to be included" in the summary. I believe he's correct, and there's a good reason for that:
Barr's 'bare bones' summary of report's principal conclusions, presented, as Barr said, in 'binary' form ("charges or no charges"), seriously misrepresents and slants the report's findings. The Barr summary and the report itself will turn out to be 2 quite different things, IMO.
Barr's efforts to delay beyond a reasonable time frame the delivery of even a redacted form of the report, and his clear intention to fight the release of any unredacted form of the report, reveal very clearly that there are things in the report that the administration fears.
