I'm a mess reading this thread
I'm home after two weeks of furious travel and work while trying to take care of myself as I "graduate" my PTSD. Even as I do that I think about my father and my son and think about our history of statelessness and alienation
I look back at our Arab region - at Arab tyranny in its last stage, at it's most paranoid and hysterical, as it plunges our region further into chaos - as it creates disaster after disaster in order to rule over the smoldering wreckage of our lives
Will a better world arise from the rubble? Will we ever be able to live in our own countries as free women and men with dignity and rights? Is there light at the end of the tunnel? Will our children write threads, like the thread quoted above?
