Suggestion: Announce the House is urgently summoning Trump’s acting head of the Secret Service to task them with the safety of House members placed at risk by a reckless POTUS.

Put responsibility for Trump’s incitement right in his lap.

Make him own it.
Make Trump responsible for the incitement, any negative consequences AND preventing them.

Put him at risk of being DOUBLY to blame if his words beget a danger his appointee doesn’t effectively prevent.

That risk of blame will stop that ignorant narcissist cold.
Trump believes the mail bombs sent by Cesar Sayoc are what doomed Repubs in the midterms.

He BELIEVES the public blamed him. While he doesn’t think he deserved it (he did) he has still been damaged by blame for others’ actions.

USE THAT. Expose him to that risk again.

When narcissists are under pressure, they go on the attack. The less resistance that meets, the more they ramp up the intensity.

It’s performance though. They’re essentially masking fragility and narcissistic injury with aggression.

1/
The less they are checked, the more they begin to believe their own performance.

The danger: If nothing stops them, they will get worse and do lasting damage.

2/
The opportunity: because their heat belies a weak, wounded person lashing out, a strong, unexpected counterpunch shocks them with the effect of a cast iron skillet to the face.

They rev up until think they’re the only actor and then they’re shocked to catch one on the chin.

team we see in the Media: Bulletproof vests, Kevlar helmets, black boots, and Phoenix Police "raid" shirts on top of their body armor. With pistols and AR-15 rifles, the team broke down the door of the house without announcing they were the police, or that they had a warrant.

This is also a verifiable masterpiece of spinning language, worthy of its own Pulitzer Prize. You’ve noticed how the Democrats echo each other. Here’s “kids in cages” to refresh your memory but there are a thousand loops of this-all the same. They have 0 creativity changing words
That’s what makes this @nytopinion so astounding. It repeats every BS narrative of the last two years without using any of the same language. To tell you hard that is: imagine making a Land Rover without using any of the original parts, but making it even better.
