This #EarthDay, I'm proud to announce another victory brings us to 20-0 vs. @realDonaldTrump. A federal judge ruled that the admin broke the law when it suddenly decided to restart federal coal leasing on public lands, without fully understanding the environmental impacts. 1/3
This is a desperate attempt by @realDonaldTrump to prop up his friends in the coal industry. His admin claims they don’t know the projects’ impacts on our environment & our communities - so we are fighting for an injunction to halt these coal leasing projects right away. 2/3
We're standing up against an anti-science admin to protect our communities & our environment. Half of our legal actions against @realDonaldTrump are environmental protection cases, including more than half of our victories. We are winning - and we’re not done yet. #EarthDay 3/3

Federal district court judge in Montana rules today that Trump admin/Ryan Zinke illegally revoked an Obama-era moratorium on new coal leases on federal lands, as it did not evaluate impact of this reversal. But lifting of moratorium stands for now, until court considers next move
