In case you didn’t notice the Republican Party is methodically dismantling democracy in the U.S. so if you are arguing that *anyone at all* shouldn’t be allowed to vote, congratulations on joining the problem.
Once you accept the premise “some people should lose the vote” you’re just haggling over price.
Yes, but if one wants to protect the right of everyone to vote in an age when that right is being systematically dismantled, one could much more easily say “we are going to protect the right of literally everyone to vote without exception.”
Can’t think of a single reason why not.
