I’m not saying that the president’s on-going defense of neo-Nazis chanting “Jews will not replace us” caused multiple synagogues attacks.
I’m just saying that I can’t believe one might have to type “the President’s on-going defense of neo-Nazis...” Ever.

2/ I’m not saying that the president engages in stochastic terrorism leading to predictable murders of Muslims and Jews.
I’m just saying I can’t believe we have to learn about “stochastic terror” because a president demonizes & defends their demonization.
3/ But I am saying the president is a racist and an anti-Semite who defends racists and anti-Semites.
And there is moral accountability for leaders who foment hate & embrace the rhetoric of violence, when that hate feeds real violence again. And again. And again.

Enough already with the Barr mantra "There was no underlying crime, so no obstruction."
1. This is utterly wrong as a matter of law and common sense.
And:
2. Trump is an unindicted co-conspirator in a flagrant campaign finance felony, hush-money to pornstar. Cohen pled guilty.
And 3. Mueller documented a preponderance of evidence of conspiracy and illegal coordination with Russian govt (through Kilimnik and separately through Assange). Obstruction made it harder to get from preponderance to “beyond reasonable doubt.”
4. Even if Manafort sharing polling data with the Russian govt through a Russian spy is not a felony by Manafort or Trump, it is probably a civil election law violation punishable by a fine.
Obstructing civil investigations - or to avoid embarrassment - is also a felony.

And she’s dead-on right about this, too.
Impeachment isn’t a political strategy. It’s a legal and moral imperative, our constitutional duty.
3/ It’s worth understanding how Trump could contest state vote counts in Nov 2020, and we get a Roberts Court anti-Bush v. Gore: “Count all the votes.”
If that prevents any candidate from getting to 270, the House will decide... by state delegation majority.

So the House passed a resolution Condemning all forms of bigotry.

It took a BLACK MUSLIM FEMALE REFUGEE to do it. But they didn't do it without vilifying her and falsely labeling her as an antisemite. Oh, and 23 Republicans voted against this resolution.

At Charlottesville, the neo-Nazis chanted "Jews will not replace us," the exact anti-Semitic theory that animated the Pittsburgh shooter. Yet almost no media accounts at the time explained the chant or centered anti-Semitism in their reporting.
