BREAKING: @TheIntercept just reported that DHS monitored the protests against family separation that took place last summer -- this is an abuse of power and we demand answers. theintercept.com/2019/04/29/fam…
These peaceful protests were in response to the horrific family separation policies that were being carried out by the Trump administration and that ripped thousands of children from the arms from their parents. 
Documentation reveals that DHS tracked over 600 of our events including locations, Facebook accounts, and URLs.
Sadly, this is not the first time we’re hearing about this type of surveillance as the government has been monitoring lawyers and activists at the border and putting them on mysterious watch lists. (@AlOtroLado_Org)
