Thread on my old Gaffa, Ryan Hindley, in the wake of his entirely predictable (within the circumstances) resignation from @RMFC1919.

'Massive' had been labouring in the Manager's rôle for 3mths without a Chairman, after the resignation of Carl Stokes.

@CityBluenose left in mid-season, 2018/19, scarcely 3mths after bringing in Hindley to only his 3rd Saturday Club Mgmt position.

Each of the last of those 2 club rôles, @WorksopTownFC & @RMFC1919, came & went in short order for RH, just 8mths & 7mths.

5 Aug. 2003 :
@Telegraph/@TeleFootball player transfers included RH moving from the predecessor club for @FCHTOnline/@FCHalifaxTown to @AlfretonTownFC.

Importantly for RH, Chris Wilder was manager of both clubs, separately, during RH's tenure at them.

According to @SoccerBase, RH never played 1st Class, 1st XI Competitive Fixtures for the 92 League Clubs.

His entire Senior career was played out amongst the echelons of non-League Foot-Ball, after Youth-level periods with a number of League Clubs.

RH scored 8 goals @AlfretonTownFC, his then-Gaffa Chris Wilder bagging the same number at the club.

A #Twitterblades fan, RH will be delighted Chris, a regular at #Sandygate (the #HomeOfFootball), acheived promotion back into the top for @SUFC_tweets.

An 18th August 2007 match report gives brief details of an appearance by Massive and describes a goal that RH scored for @GresleyFC, during his time there.

Now-defunct-lkeston-Town's 1945-2010 goalscorers list has RH with 18 goals.

He still remains popular with fans of 2nd successor club, @IlkestonTown_FC.

As Harrop's turbulent reign collapsed, fans tempted RH to leave HFC for his old Derbyshire Manor.

The 19th February 2010 match report from @BelperTownFC illustrates RH playing alongside @Smirf83, who was to go on to be Massive's Captain at HFC some 5 years or so later.

@RoyalEarlFC photo-report of @SHCFA Sun. Cup R5 Tie, 16th Dec. 2012, with images of RH with @BatesyEarl & Tom Roebuck, both of whom RH would later bring to HFC.

Norman's was a repeat spell at the club he played for, as a youth.

Norman, Ro-ey, Massive, Westy, Michael van Blythen, etc. would all play in HFC 's Royal Blue before too long, at the #HomeOfFootball, after @RoyalEarlFC yellow & blue.

Soon, however, HRH Massive was to step into Foot-Ball Management.

His beloved @RoyalEarlFC was to offer a rôle, in Sunday Foot-Ball.
