🚨🚨BREAKING🚨🚨

New document reveals Palantir played a *key role* in Trump admin's efforts to prosecute & arrest parents of children crossing the border alone.

Border agents used Palantir to build cases against families, helping ICE separate families.

In mid-2017, ICE wanted to crack down on the parents of kids who crossed the border alone.

They used Palantir’s ICM to build profiles of families for arrest, nabbing anyone undocumented they came across during investigations, including those who came forward to claim their kids.
ICE is explicit about this: Agents are to "arrest the subjects and anybody encountered during the inquiry who is out of status."

They used Palantir to keep track of all these people, building cases against the families of every unaccompanied child they encountered at the border.
This operation arrested *443 people* just for being undocumented.

That's mothers, fathers, uncles, aunts, relatives, & friends of children who crossed the border alone.

Instead of helping kids reconnect w/families, ICE used info they got from interviews to arrest parents.
This saga led to more kids being locked up in desert camps like Tornillo b/c family members got scared of coming forward.

If they tried to claim their children, they could be deported. That was the choice ICE gave them & Palantir facilitated.

Hundreds were arrested this way.
Palantir is complicit throughout.

Without its software, ICE agents would have been unable to build cases against families. Palantir helped them scour databases for info on family members & used it to find parents, knock on their doors, & arrest them for deportation.
Palantir has said time & again that its software is not used in deportations.

We've known that's a lie in the past b/c ICE agents leading workplace raids use Palantir, busting down doors, guns drawn, to arrest people *at their work* for deportation.

Now we have proof it was used at the border as part of Trump's crackdown on migrants & asylum-seekers.

So @PalantirTech & everyone who works there—what will you do now? Are you going to drop your contract w/ICE that actively aids in deportations?

Or will you remain complicit?
We're calling on everyone who works at Palantir to tell its CEO Alex Karp & all execs: Drop the ICE contract.

To everyone investing in Palantir before its IPO: Drop your investment. You have real power here.

We've had enough. You either stand with immigrants or against us.
