Iran has been using proxies to conquer other states since the 1980s.

Today, we see Houthis in Yemen carrying the same “Death to America” and “Death to Israel” slogans regularly chanted by Tehran's loyalist terror proxies in Lebanon, Syria and Iraq.

Iran's strategy in the Middle East is "Dominance by Proxy" - a testament to the mullah regime's commitment to irregular warfare. Civilian populations in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, and Yemen are hostages, human shields, and political tokens in Tehran's cynical political power games.
Tehran's ultimate goal is to create a Shia acre of influence in a region dominated by Sunni Islam. Iran has under its control Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Hashd and other militias in Iraq, Houthis in Yemen, and various IRGC-Quds Force controlled groups in Syria.
While all of these groups have local and regional agendas, they are united in an extremist version of Shia Islam propagated by the theocratic fascist mullah regime in Iran that is virulently anti-Western and, in particular, anti-American and anti-Israel.
That said, Iran and its proxies are not only a threat to Israel and the United States. They also threaten our Arab allies in the Gulf. Iran's ability to wage proxy war on the region has seen nuclear power plants, civilian airports, and oil infrastructure all targeted.
