They said more than 20 orgs may have been part of a bribery "cartel," Looks like they've been known as the #ProstheticMafia.

Here's a 2017 article from an orthopedic website. Ohhh, lordy, it looks like there are tapes! Undercover tapes of bribery participants offering secret commissions to a reporter posing as a surgeon.

There were also accusations that device distributors were paying commissions to surgeons who used their products and "and often performed unnecessary replacement surgeries."

Looks like a few companies settled w US DOJ & SEC in 2017 for violating the FCPA.

More big news out of the #NXIVM sex cult trial.

The government alleged that Emiliano Salinas, the son of former Mexico President Carlos Salinas, was a co-conspirator in the case.
Looks like the failing NYT mentioned a couple of words about Salinas being involved in passing, too.

This article, which was translated from Spanish, also mentions Salinas, and says he left in April 2018. They also claim he was only involved with Raniere's "Executive Success Program," which is probably BS if DOJ thinks he's a co-conspirator.

#Glencore is under CFTC investigation (the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission).

Just a couple weeks ago Glencore posted it on their own website and mentioned that it's in the early stages of investigation.

Oh, I didn't even realize that Glencore is based in Switzerland, whose President just scheduled a last minute meeting with Trump this Wednesday to talk Iran and "other things."

One of the largest health care fraud schemes investigated by the FBI and the U.S. HHS-OIG and prosecuted by the DOJ resulted in charges against 24 defendants, including the CEOs, COOs and others associated with five telemedicine companies,
the owners of dozens of durable medical equipment (DME) companies and 3 licensed medical professionals, for their participation in health care fraud schemes involving more than $1.2 billion in loss, as well as the execution of over 80 search warrants in 17 federal districts.
Also the Center for Medicare Services, Center for Program Integrity (CMS/CPI) announced that it took adverse administrative action against 130 DME companies that had submitted over $1.7 billion in claims and were paid over $900 million.
