I used to do quite a bit of graphic design - I'm no expert but I like to think I have an eye for it. The Change UK fliers and advertising hurts me so much I can hardly look at it. I can't even bear to post an image of the flier I just received as it's not fair to my followers

Also, I know Twitter is hardly the place to say this but by making this election about Farage and his ideas you just draw attention to Farage and his ideas. Framing theory 101. Also applies to milkshaking him

It's just a repeat of the mistakes from the first Brexit referendum - by focussing on the lies of the Brexit campaign the end result was just giving them more attention. The mistake is thinking that people trust you more than them

I have read a million (ok a few less) amazingly thorough reports about human rights public attitudes and they all say that to gain new supporters you need to focus on positively asserting values not the "myths" of your opponents. Framing.

Also attended focus groups for @rights_info with "middle ground" people (neither supporters nor opponents of human rights). Turns out that they don't trust BBC and liberal commentators any more than Daily Mail. So focussing on "THE LIES" isn't as big a winner as you think it is
