I didn’t know exactly what to expect from a Ramadan Iftar (breaking of the daily fast) hosted in Parliament but I didn’t expect to be so moved.

Easy to focus on hate and division and forget how our problems can only be solved in the long term by love and understanding 💗

I’m going to vote for @ForChange_Now. It was a choice, for me, between them and the Lib Dems as remain options. There isn’t much between, but I hugely respect @lucianaberger and want to support her new party, and I know and have worked with @JMPSimor, who I also rate highly.
I like Greens as another choice, but politically I feel closer to the other remain options, particularly with the focus on human rights and liberal values. This may end up being my last vote for Change UK, but who knows what tomorrow will bring! Also keeping mind open on Greens!

I used to do quite a bit of graphic design - I'm no expert but I like to think I have an eye for it. The Change UK fliers and advertising hurts me so much I can hardly look at it. I can't even bear to post an image of the flier I just received as it's not fair to my followers
Also, I know Twitter is hardly the place to say this but by making this election about Farage and his ideas you just draw attention to Farage and his ideas. Framing theory 101. Also applies to milkshaking him

It's just a repeat of the mistakes from the first Brexit referendum - by focussing on the lies of the Brexit campaign the end result was just giving them more attention. The mistake is thinking that people trust you more than them

This is quite a story - a Holocaust denial film was apparently written, edited, produced and published by Al Jazeera before a public outcry led to it being taken down. The two journalists are apparently being ‘disciplined’

These datasets are of course massively racially biased; African-American people make up 12.8% of the US population but, thanks to the racism of the carceral "justice" system, almost 50% of the dead arrestee database. The immigrant photos were originally _specifically_ Mexican.
