1)Many International publications and some Indian contributors too have been writing on how if BJP wins again, it will be doomsday for India's Muslims.

MY TAKE IN THIS THREAD

2) I do not know who is forming the government, we will know tomorrow. But if exit polls are any indications, let me put it on record that India's Muslims are the most resilient community, we have seen the worst forms of discriminations post-partition.

3) We have witnessed riots and pogroms, we witnessed Babri demolition, but we have survived and together with little support from government managed quite well despite some shortcomings.

4) Muslims have been living in Gujarat and MP and MashaAllah they are doing not bad. Yes, we will be made to suffer even more, yes Hindutva forces and Hindu communal-liberals will try everything to marginalize us even more.

5) But I have no doubt we will emerge stronger and more empowered.

We trust Allah and His justice, if He wants to test us more we will happily face this and InshaAllah we will emerge from the ashes.

6) So don't lose hope my fellow Muslim brothers and sisters, learn from people like @AmanWadud and @abdulkazad who set examples every day fighting injustice in Assam, and give us hopes for future.

7) Finally, we do not need your patronizing sermons dear Hindu Liberals and International media, yesterday you cheered for him hoping to get some benefit, tomorrow again you will. Worry about yourself and the society you have contributed in building.

8) We are not going anywhere we will struggle, fight but survive. We will assert our identity, our faith our culture whether it makes you uncomfortable or makes you hate us, we don't care. Its your problem, reform yourself before giving sermons on reforming Muslim community.
