#AmKenyan 5. It's alleged that in the past, Sheikh Suleiman would be reported to the local community elders(Wazee) and faith leaders but they would all sit 'under a tree' and solve it 'Ki-familia' because he was a 'Mwalimu wa dini'. Non of the girls got Justice! #JusticeForNA

#AmKenyan 6. It took the @NubianRights for Sheikh Suleiman to be arrested on Tuesday. Fast forward to today morning, though a lot of drama has happened in between, we were informed he would be arraigned in court and we made our way to Milimani Law courts at 9am. #JusticeForNA

#AmKenyan 7. The waiting began. Dude wasn't produced. We got suspicious(as is our nature as activists) and we started making calls trying to figure out why he was not produced in court. Sources informed us he was taken to Kibera and not Milimani. Hhhmmm..😎

#AmKenyan 8. Various sources including some that were concerned something is off asked us to rush to Kibera Law courts.We were also informed that the file had been taken back to Kilimani police station to change the charge from DEFILEMENT to INCEST. Wueh! Sisi Hao!

#AmKenyan 9. We got to the court and waited. He was then called out. He denied the charge and tried to draw the court's attention to the fact that his lawyer was not present and he would like for the court to wait for him. Court rightfully declined. #JusticeForNA

#AmKenyan 10. The court set a date for his bail hearing. Next week 29th. We left there still puzzled about the change of charge to INCEST and got even more confused when we saw the charge sheet. My friend @matundura78 can you please walk us through this? HATUELEWI!

#AmKenyan 11. It must also be noted that even though @NubianRights are doing the best they can to make sure justice is served, potential witnesses whose children have been victims are claiming Sheikh Suleiman's nephew who is an influential LAWYER is threatening them

#AmKenyan 14. @NubianRights and I are working very hard to get NA, who is 13 and was first raped at age 9, a secure shelter. She is currently staying with a relative who sheltered a previous victim who was kidnapped, baby aborted and taken to Uganda.

#AmKenyan 15. It is also important to state that the reason the change of charge from DEFILEMENT to INCEST puzzles us is because the survivor is not a direct blood relation to Sheikh Suleiman. A credible source tells me he has a relative working at Kibera courts
