Curious to hear what identity verification mechanism Facebook is working on so bad actors can't launder money as easily as they have laundered information, conspiracy, propaganda.
My vote remains "no" on these companies controlling anything else until they stop acting like it's their first day on stopping the mindf*ckery
As @chrizap once told me, the answer to social media disinfo involves convincing tech minds about fundamental values of democracy and the rule of law. For now, all I see is moral laziness salved by infinity cash and goals for further dominance. What world do they want to build?
