(4) @Future_SpaceDad has pointed out a dam that is in desperate need of repairs! The dam in 93 had a flood that Fifty people died and 70k people were left homeless as a result of the floods across the region that caused an estimated $12 billion in property & agricultural damages.

(6) Dams are important to keep rivers running at a safe level and when failure happens anything downstream is in danger. This just happened in Texas. May 14th 2019🇺🇸
(7) They are still developing new houses in the flood plains... @Future_SpaceDad house has settled so much over the past few weeks it Broke main drain line a ft up from concrete. Underground river? Drained his 3200 gallon pool into one Crack in his yard last year. 🇺🇸
