THREAD: possible scenario of upcoming #SAA operation to seize strategic #Kabani region from Al-Qaeda affiliates' can be subdivided into 4 phases:

1️⃣ Isolate Jabal Zuwayqat south slope
2️⃣ Seize Zuwayqat summits
3️⃣ Seize Zuwayqat hamlet & ridge 1120
4️⃣ Seize Kabani & Barzah summit

PHASE 1️⃣ Firstly, #SAA will (continue) attempts to capture points 1110 & 1115 respectively to isolate/fire-control southern perimeter of Jabal Zuwayqat [incl point 1097] & use environment of point 1110 as base to climb onto the ~1150 meter high mountain.

PHASE 2️⃣ After mobilizing at southern gates of Jabal Zuwayqat, #SAA will secure the western slope [average ~30%] & climb the forward slope [average ~13%] to capture summits of Jabal Zuwayqat [1148 subsequently 1150] via at least 4 unpaved trajectories through forests ...

... #SAA will execute this extensive phase with heavy aviation & artillery support that will particularly target hostile military crest [~1120 m] in order to allow mechanized infantry reach point 1097 & climb the forward slope [average 13%] of Jabal Zuwayqat. #PT

PHASE 3️⃣ With Jabal Zuwayqat under its control, #SAA is monitoring direct fire-control over #Kabani town, Zuwayqat hamlet & ridge 1120.

Army units will now aim at latter two in order to secure most of trajectories (paved & semi-paved) which lead to SW&SE gates of Kabani town.

PHASE 4️⃣ #SAA mechanized infantry will storm & seize #Kabani town mainly via 2 trajectories (paved & semi-paved).

Subsequently, army units will capture Barzah summit with heavy aviation & artillery support to eliminate Al-Qaeda affiliates' rule in Kabani region. #IdlibDawn
