What to do when it seems God is not responding to your prayers?
2 Corinthians 12:7
Paul’s torment was caused by pride.
People have said God answers in 3 ways - He either says YES, NO or NOT YET.
This is not true, but was said so that people won’t be upset with God.
Unanswered prayers could cause “depression.”
Multitudes are here.
Most prayers like this come from a place of fear.
God told Paul to come rather into purpose.
There is a power to walking with God through the valleys of life. We have been taught that we would not going through trouble.
Sometimes He allows us to go through stuff so that His life can penetrate earth.
Hebrews 2:14,15
Our unpleasant experiences make us purposeful after we have seen what God brings about through them. Sometimes it’s through these things that we can get into purpose.
It’s when we go through these things that we see these higher truths.
We are no longer teaching process. We are teaching avoidance of pain. This is why we don’t see God’s power.
If everything happens the way you want it you’ll have no message to teach. You’ll tell stories of how God converts unpleasant situations around, not by taking people to better places but by converting their wilderness into fruitful fields.
God needs storytellers.
Isaiah 41:18
You’re going to a victorious place but the journey won’t be as you imagined it. You can’t control things around you.
Paul took pleasure in necessities & reproaches that the power of God may rest. 2 Cor 12:10
Genesis 50:20
This is the secret of resurrection.
“...sown in weakness, raises in power.”
Sow the unpleasant event into God, rejoicing. God will raise it in power.
Anything you see happening in people’s lives has come from the place of pain.
There is a song you’ll sing that will cause corruption to become incorruption. There’s a sound, after you’ve planted the painful situation into the ground.
Phil 1:19
Luke 21:13 - 19
Isaiah 35:4-6
Isaiah 55:7-13
A supply of the Spirit shall come into the situation as you sing and your eyes shall be open. Revelation will flow from the Word. Follow the instructions.
