Went to the Bournemouth Pier Amusements Arcade a little earlier. Was pretty packed (due to it being half-term for kids and due to 8t being Sunday), but I managed to play a few games, including one that I didn't expect to be there.
Well, technically two. Here's one of them: a Tomb Raider Arcade game.

I only spent one credit as despite the giant HD screen, it was pretty boring.
Daytona Championship USA and Moto GP were alright. Enjoyed my time with them, but I don't think I'll be spending any more money on then any time soon.
Time Crisis 5 is still pretty good fun, even if it is the second weakest entry in the series. Didn't spend much money as I've already beaten it before and it was the last game I played before I left.
I still suck really badly at pinball, but the Ghost Busters and Deadpool pinball machines were really fun.

I played the Ghost Busters one more, but I really liked the Deadpool one, especially due to the fact that there's boss battles in it.
Finally (though I tried this out second), the other game I didn't expect... House of the Dead: Scarlet Dawn.
This was a sit-down cabinet, akin to Let's Go Jungle, but had the non-mounted mini-uzis from THotD 4. Though this time, there's two buttons to switch weapons with, and you can select two sub-weapons at the start of each chapter from a large array of them.
My favourite was the gatling gun, and you can assign the same sub-weapon to both slots, and both have their own limited ammo counts.

The buttons to switch weapons are also way more satisfying to press than the ones on the Time Crisis 5 gun. Take notes Namco...
You can probably tell that House of the Dead: Scarlet Dawn was my favourite game at the arcade at the time (it was also pretty popular as many people wanted a go, and while it's far fairer than the other games in the series, it still took 13 credits and I didn't beat it.
Maybe I'll beat it next time.

Still, I haven't been to an amusments arcade in a long time and it was pretty fun. Wish there was a dedicated arcade near to where I live currently, but considering how much I spent today, it's probably for the best that there isn't one, haha.
Despite the spend, it was still worth it.
