Carl Benjamin, aka Sargon of Akkad, finished in a smashing 6th place in Southwest England, winning an incredible 3% of the vote. No European parliamentary seat for Carl. Back to semi-intelligible YouTube rants about "classical liberalism," I guess
Count me as shocked that Carl's hot, classically liberal platform didn't resonate with voters in Gloucestershire
Carl lost out to Ann Widdecombe, the former Conservative MP and anti-feminist media pundit. I guess it's not that Carl's views are totally incompatible with the electorate; it's just that voters aren't so keen on Carl, Milo, and the rest of their flamboyant online trolling gang

I normally ignore this troll, but he's outright lying. Fabricating facts. I wasn't fired from TYT. I've never gotten paid by Fox News. Check with both of them. I'm sure he'll pass it off as "Joking," but this person works for @Gizmodo, an ostensible journalism outfit. @thetomzone
I know the Extremely Online Ironic Style is super cool and subversive, but outright fabricating facts -- demonstrably lying -- would seem to cross a line. You know, if you're supposed to be a journalist or whatever. I guess my conception of journalism could be outdated, however
I get criticized all day, every day. I'm fine with that. Comes with the territory. But journalists simply making up facts to publicly smear me is different. I always thought journalists were not supposed to fabricate facts. Weird. I don't care how Funny and Ironic Online you are.

First up: Back in January I wrote about a pair of young Canadian Muslim siblings who made up a story about being the victims of an Islamophobia attack. Predictably, the credulous fools who lapped it all up were the media: quillette.com/2018/01/25/isl…
This was a typical response at the time when the story broke. The siblings later told police (falsely) that the suspect was an Asian man with glasses and black hair.

So, the story of the UKIP/'Tommy' rally being held this weekend is getting all kinds of nuts.

Here's your rundown of all the things going on...
First up, this photo was put up on various UKIP social media a few days ago. It shows preparation for the rally.

Most of the media attention surrounded the bloke next to 'Tommy', convicted kidnapper 'Danny Thommo'... telegraph.co.uk/politics/2018/…
...however, this woman is identified by @Guardian as Lisa Babounis, of Middle East Forum, a hard right US thinktank who have paid for Tommy's staging before.
