UPDATE: The Trump campaign is running a Facebook ad claiming the deadline to enter a contest to win the 1,000,000th MAGA hat is tonight at midnight.

They also claimed the deadline was midnight on May 28, 27, 25, 24, and 23

It's a scam.

I asked Facebook about this yesterday. It appears to be an obvious violation of its rules against false and misleading content in ads

They never responded

So the scam continues

It violates Facebook's rules but the company is doing nothing

UPDATE: The MAGA hat scam on Facebook enters its 11th day.

They've previously run ads claiming the deadline was midnight on May 23, 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, June 1, and 2.

I've requested comment from Facebook, which supposedly bans false and misleading ads, multiple times

UPDATE: The MAGA hat scam enters Day 12. This one adds a new twist -- it contradicts itself! The ad says there are only 3 hours left to enter and you can enter until midnight.

This may all seem silly but it getting away with it will embolden the Trump campaign to do much worse.

Are there 2 hours left to enter or 3 hours left to enter.
