Dubai is the holiday destination of choice for many Nigerians irrespective of religion. According to @thecableng 185k Nigerians traveled there in 2018.

Assuming:
- Avg ticket of N250K = N46B
- Avg spend of $500 = N34B

Conservatively, that's N80B ($222m)

UAE is an Islamic country that implements certain (not all) aspects of the Sharia law in it's penal code. But when you go to Dubai, you don't see Sharia, (in fact when at the beach you might be tempted to think you are in Miami) rather what you see overwhelmingly is development.

I have been to Dubai. I've gone there on family vacations. A lot of my friends from the clergy have been there with their families. We all have spent our hard earned christian N/$ in an Islamic country without a thought whether our N/$ will be used to propagate an Islamic agenda.

Somehow we all have this incredible ability to rationalise that our monies been spent to develop the economy of another country is also not been used to globally propagate a State Religion. We simply do not care. Why? Because when it comes down to it, "Development" is all we see.

Those who can't deliver development wld inevitably use religion to divide and distract people from what's important. It's a sign that they've no desire for an egalitarian society. I care less about an Islamic Agenda or a Christian Agenda. All I care about is a Development Agenda.

The "Development Agenda" is God's agenda for mankind. A governance system focused on serving humanity by delivering world class infrastructure, power, health care, social security, good quality of life...everything we call "development" for its people is doing God's work.
