Dear @WSJ,

Sorry, Mr. Rove, but #StaceyAbrams’ claim that the 2018 gubernatorial election was corrupted is hardly "unsupported." Our team found a half million-plus Georgians were purged from voter rolls by #BrianKemp in the year before the election. wsj.com/articles/stace…
They lost their vote on the ostensible grounds they’d left the state or voting county. We found 340,136 of those voters had never moved from where they originally registered. But Kemp took away their right to vote — while he was running for Governor. gregpalast.com/georgias-brian…
Mr. Rove is correct in stating these citizens were purged in accordance with #Georgia’s "Use It or Lose It" law. But that law only acts as an "alternative means" recognized by the National Voter Registration Act for determining if a voter has moved. truthout.org/articles/gops-…
Whether voters had actually moved was supposed to be verified by #BrianKemp. He did nothing to save these voters, a self-serving choice. On #ElectionDay, voters including Christine Ford, #MLK’s 92-year-old cousin, found themselves missing from the rolls.
Yes, as Rove states, they could have "saved" their vote had they received and returned a postcard. But Rove, a junk mail expert, knows Kemp's inscrutable cards were rarely returned—and failure to return a card is certainly not evidence a voter had moved.
Our report was the latest exposé of #BrianKemp’s massive purge operations uncovered over five years of investigations by @RollingStone and @Salon. Kemp, by systematically cleansing voter rolls, elected himself governor. rollingstone.com/politics/polit… #VoterSuppression #ElectionFraud
