Doctors from Gorakhpur and other parts of Eastern UP suggests, hospitals like BRD Medical College have been adviced to mention Japanese Encephalitis as Acute Febrile Illness to show Adityanath govt controlled the spreading of Japanese Encephalitis. (1/2)
The 100 bed Encephalitis ward in BRD Medical college is not admitting Encephalitis patients. They are referred to a new ward - which is already full - to show the illness is not JE or referred to Lucknow. Patients from Bihar and Nepal are turned away. (2/n)
BRD Medical College in Gorakhpur is not releasing any data related to the number of patients admitted in the hospital or the number of deaths. Even RTIs related to these queries are not answered since months. (3/n)
