Yesterday IS in West Africa released a new video of fighters in Nigeria, Mali, and seemingly Burkina Faso re-pledging allegiance to Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi, as well as a few minute speech from a fighter in Nigeria. Though it's short, there are some interesting aspects.

The display of ex-Nigerian Special forces arms continues. Note 2x Zenitco/FAB Defence equipped AK-74, equipment only in the area from NA SpecOps.
One even has a PK01VS RDS attached. Exactly the same as the 2nd image of Nigerian SF.
Also, standardised customised AKs.

This image has merely a standard PG-7V warhead and a Chinese HEI-AP bounding warhead, but the latter is still not too common in West Africa. That being said, Chinese hardware is everywhere across Africa, in state and non-state hands.

Among numerous AK/PK pattern arms, all v common, we can see 2+ AK-103, extremely likely ex-Libyan AK-103-2 smuggled in. Also spot the common G3 rifle, and seemingly Romanian PG-7VM.

This is a short sum-up of interesting arms seen, but it seems that IS WA in general is currently moving from strength to strength even with authority's denials. They seem to be the most important IS branch at present.
