The fondest memory I have of my father was the day he said to me " Ayo, what will you use to surpass me? I surpassed my father, my father never bought a car in his life, I bought one and drove him in it. If you buy a car tomorrow, you haven't surpassed me. #FathersDay #Thread
No matter how more expensive it is to mine. My father never built a house of his own, he stayed until his death in the house that was co-builded with his brother. I built my own house. Ayo, what will you use to surpass me?? "
When I ponder upon this golden conversation I see two sides to it.

One side says, Ayo, hustle o! Make you no go fall the generational trend of erasing paucity started by your father. Like Drake, he started from the bottom, did house help jobs to study. Became an engineer.
Died a millionaire. I can't let the standard down, no, not in my time.

The other extract i deduced from the golden convo is that of a healthy competition. I figured my father was saying - look at me, I'm the only competition you are allowed to have.
Every other competition apart from me is not good for you. Surpass me and see how much you'll have achieved.

It's what I'm going to tell my Sons and daughters. Look here baby, focus on me, follow me closely as I follow a legacy of brave fighters dedicated to excellence.
#HappyFathersDay's Day to you Engr. Idowu Hammed Adefabi, Omo ori-oye.If you can, please come back from that journey.I'll gladly pick you at the airport. We won't even bother you about why you left for so long.Seeing you in person again will melt all those waxed-coated questions.
