1/2 The screenshot in Hoey's tweet leaves out the date when the Commission approved UK government State aid for Channel 4. That approval was in *1991*, whereas the screenshot leaves the impression that it was in 2018.

Note the 1991 date and the code with "91" in it are both missing from the Hoey screenshot. I don't know if it's been doctored, but I saw the correct date months ago.
3/ Seems that Ms Hoey has deleted her tweet with the doctored or out of date screenshot, although with no apology or explanation to date.

A misleading statement that mixes up two different things. The UK, as an EU Member State, applies EU free trade agreements with dozens of countries, and EU preferences for developing countries. The implication that trade between UK/EU would be unaffected if no deal is nonsense.
Here's the original tweet, for those blocked by Redwood. The issue isn't whether you can trade without a free trade agreement, but whether you can trade *as much* without one. Only a charlatan would seek to blur this crucial distinction.
Also: there are no agreed treaties with the EU on aviation and road haulage in the event of no deal Brexit. These are unilateral, time limited, EU measures. Again Redwood lacks the honesty to admit that tariffs and non-tariff barriers would be imposed.

This is at best the nutty shit the extremist wing of your party files on Day 2 of a shutdown to get its demands out there, not the actual good-faith solution that Day 31 actually requires. The Republican Party should never be allowed to recover from this utter disgrace. Never.
If you are a "conservative" who preaches things like small government, limited executive power, "the rule of law," etc you should be angrier than I am--and I'm having trouble finding words for my fury right now--about all of this.

As a fmr immigration attorney let me be unambiguously clear. Crossing a boarder to claim asylum is *not* a crime; no under US or international law. Any child separated from a parent under that pretext is done so in direct contravention to the laws of the USA. ⚖ THREAD Pls RT.
If you came to the US without permission to apply for asylum, youmetjod of entry, whether legal or illegal *should* in no way effect your application process. Illegal entry is not a ground of inadmissibility for asylum applicants.
Unlike many other categories of applicants for immigration benefits, ppl seeking asylum in the US are not barred by having made an illegal entry; for example, sneaked across the U.S. border or overstaying a valid visa (one of the top ways people are in the country illegall).

Russia has a history of political assassinations, interfering in other countries & a total disregard for civilian life.
