Something that I cannot help but ponder... 🤔

Remember that $1.5m that Priorities USA PAC spent on Buzzfeed?!

• direct spend
• many times larger than any other native ad buy w/any outlet
• buzzfeed later prints ‘dossier’

You know... the $1.5m that went to ads with ABSOLUTELY ZERO POLITICAL VALUE!!!

Like these here... about bringing 🍷 to your friend’s house.

I scoured their website for ads - almost ALL were like this!

What in the hell did the $1.5m go towards?

Did you know that there were also rumors swirling about a BuzzFeed IPO in 2017-2018?!

Crowdstrike just had their recent IPO - funny, bc Dems have spent a shit-load of money on that company... even though their market peers think they suck at their jobs.

Also interesting, bc they had a Series C that seemed to match description in ‘Dossier’
... and I cannot help but wonder if all of this has a Swamp Alignment with this article in 2018.

Democrats investing in Tech Startups.

Incidentally, the ones I have looked into seem to suck at life in similar scales to BuzzFeed & Crowdstrike.

It is bulk payments like these that run into the millions, or at least the hundreds of thousands at a time, like the two payments made in 2016 to BuzzFeed. But BuzzFeed is not an advertising company.
If, by comparison, one searched for how Facebook was paid during the 2016 campaign cycle, you will see numerous small payments for ad buys from mostly individual candidates’ campaigns. Even the largest ad buys at Facebook are in the single-digit thousands. Most are much smaller.
