If you read the Washington papers, you’ll know that CRS, Congress’ think tank, provides the highest quality non-partisan research in DC. But, because they work for Congress, they must be non- partisan. Therefore, if you are promoting an agenda on the Left or the Right,
of course you are unhappy. But, since 1980, Congress has become less and less bipartisan, and the budget has been cut severely, and especially under Newt Gingrich. My father was the Director at the time.
