America, today: To avoid having to vote on a climate change bill, Oregon GOP state senators fled to Idaho and surrounded themselves with armed white right-wing militia, who are threatening to shoot & kill police if they try to escort the senators to vote.

The leader of the insurrection: Sen. Brian Boquist, who told Dem governor Brown to send only “bachelor” troopers in a blatant threat to murder cops. Boquist, an Iraq vet, runs International Charter Inc., a paramilitary army for hire that recruits ex US and, uh, Russian soldiers. 
Republicans aligning with armed extremists and threatening to kill cops to avoid voting on climate change is almost too much of a 2019 mood.
Anyone running for POTUS who thinks Republicans will just “go back to normal” if Trump loses is deeply deluded.
