Continued attacks by Russia on Europe, endless murders of journalists/dissidents in Russia/overseas, interfering in every election, cyber attacks on Infrastructure, cyber attacks aimed at NATO. This is why Putin is getting bolder because not one country is holding him accountable
Russia keeps causing absolute chaos/division everywhere, installing their puppets & the West admits them into orgs meant for countries who seek democracy and peace. The West keeps normalizing Russia’s behavior despite it getting worse every year. This is really outrageous
I mean this is really some sick shit.

The timing of his interview makes zero sense. Deripaska was definitely involved at the time and another option could be the Kremlin somehow dangling Levinson’s release in return for trump backing off. I am really curious why now

Trump should be impeached and indicted for the horror and atrocities he is ordering on the border.
What is happening there is disgusting and inhumane. @CBP is treating these refugees and innocent kids who are seeking asylum worse than animals. The Speaker needs to act now
How the hell is this regime allowed to kidnap these people and throw them into these dangerous conditions? Wth does CBP even allowed to exist and function like this? They need to be completely overhauled and staffed with humans and not nazis
Dems need to immediately withhold funding from these agencies until this ends and all current staff involved in these atrocities are fired and investigated to see if criminal charges can be brought. I cannot believe this is America 2019. It’s fucking outrageous

#Thread Let me tell you why the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe’s decision to re-admit Russia will prove to be an own-goal and why those who voted in favour have made a fatal error of judgement.
Your claims that Russia belongs to the CoE with all the rights & obligations this confers is self-defeating. The hallmark of the Kremlin is that it actively chooses to operate outside the norms of international law, whatever the forum and whatever the rules or rulings.
Remember the aggression against Georgia and Ukraine? 13,000 dead and counting. Vetoing and obstruction of the investigation into #MH17? The #Salisbury attack as well as election meddling around the world? Are memories so short?

A couple of more words about the terribly ill-advised decision of the @coe parliamentary assembly to bend to the blackmail of the Russian government and remove sanctions against #Russia. THREAD
This decision took three years of financial blackmail, rhetorical intimidation and possibly a fair amount of corruption. #Russia succeeded in arm-twisting Europe's most prominent human rights institution to change its own rules the way it wanted them, greatly weakening CoE.
Those who voted for this stunning capitulation should be ashamed of themselves; this includes the German and the French government as well as the Council of Europe secretary general @TJagland who supported the move.
