Today, I made donations to the campaigns of @JulianCastro + @CoryBooker for mentioning trans rights in the first presidential primary debate last night. I'll be doing this for every presidential candidate who mentions trans rights in a debate moving forward. Join me!

Someone sent me a message pointing out that @ewarren mentioned Latinx folks, which is absolutely right. That refers to trans and non-binary folks who are from Latin America or descendants of folks from Latin America. So, that makes three candidates I'm donating to!
ACK! My apologies. Correction on this from a Latinx enbie: "I just wanted to clarify that "Latinx" includes all genders, but doesn't specifically denote trans/enbie people. I've seen an increasing number of white people refer to it as a specific term, and wanted to clarify"

public service announcement: we are now living through the biggest anti-#trans backlash since the 1970s. it's been going on since at least 2016. it's not just Republicans or evangelicals – it's coming from numerous fronts. & most cis people seem entirely oblivious to it...
