nearby. My fiancé had gotten his sleeve worked on by both of the artists that worked there, named Chris and Michael. Both of them amazing artists so I trusted I would get quality work done. Chris did a lot of black and grey work so I decided I’d go with Michael since I wanted
a color tattoo. I’m from Ukraine and our national flower is the Sunflower. So I asked if he could do mirroring (but not exactly the same) sunflowers on my shoulders. He was game. He freehanded sketches on both of my shoulders and went to work. Meanwhile my fiancé was getting
tattooed by Chris. Michael worked on my tattoos for a few hours and when he was finished I was AMAZED. I just told him I wanted sunflowers and he tattooed these insanely realistic ones for me. I was emotional as they held significant meaning behind my home country. I thanked him
and tipped him really well (always tip your artists babes). Everywhere I went people complimented my tattoos which felt really nice. They’re still one of my favorite tattoos to this day. Now flash forward about 3 weeks later. Me and my fiancé were back in the same town I got

Came and picked Michael up or anything. Michael was hitchhiking when the man picked him up. Some things occurred between then and the actual murder but it’s a lot to type (I will leave a link below) but the conclusion to my story is this
People love asking me about my tattoos and never except for me to tell them what I do. So here’s the story behind my sunflower tattoos: they were done by a convicted murder who is now serving a life sentence. The end lmaooo

To add onto this: although I wasn’t in the courtroom and don’t know all the details, the police should have came and done a wellness check on Michael. It’s clear that he wasn’t in the right state of mind when the murder occurred. The courts should have looked into it more
because the Michael that tattooed me and the Michael I saw that day were completely different in all aspects. I still believe that this whole scenario could have been avoided had the police picked him up that day rather than disregarded the whole situation!!
