Mom came home Thursday, and announced "I got us something." Well, "something" turns out to be a brand-new stainless steel fridge she bought from a customer at her store. It cost her $50.
She is currently scrubbing out the fridge in my kitchen, so she can move it downstairs to her kitchen. The new fridge is going in up here, and her old fridge, which came with the house, is getting moved out.
New fridge in place and being filled with food. Elsie and Thomas were shut in my room for the duration. They couldn't find Meg. She was asleep in one of the cat trees.
It had to be moved to get the fridge inside. She cried despondently until it was put back where it belonged. My cats don't like moving furniture.
