Bolton sorta denies the story. Tho he's right about this: "Someone" IS attempting to "box in" Trump. His name is Vladimir Putin. Russia's been influencing and/or directing Trump's North Korea policy for a while. Putin's been working Trump on this & more, often in plain sight.
Follow the 🚨authoritarian implications of Trump's approach on North Korea: If friendship is an end in itself & Trump's personal relationship w/ Kim is what makes us safe, then concessions don't matter. Only Trump matters. He must stay in power. Why not forever, if it means peace
