A lot of the wagon circling around Robert Foster is about the contempt & grievance many men (& women) feel over #MeToo. There’s an idea that, if men like Trump & Roy Moore must face consequences, professional women like @thisislarrison should, too. #MSelex

If I had known when I sat down with Foster in January that a woman doing the same job as me would not have been afforded the same opportunity unless she acquiesced to the indignity of having a male chaperone, I wouldn't have done it.

What Jesus says is “Render unto Caesar what is Caesar’s, and unto God what is God’s.” He’s saying it in response to some Pharisees who tried to trick him into speaking out against the Romans & incriminating himself. 👇🏻
At the time, the poor in Judea were being taxed mercilessly to pay for the Roman empire’s expansion; religious leaders wanted to trick Jesus into taking a political side.

“But Jesus, knowing their evil intent, said, ‘You hypocrites, why are you trying to trap me?’” (Matt. 22) 👇🏻
So he asks whose image is on the coins, and they say, “Caesar,” so he says to give to Caesar what is Caesar’s and to God what is God’s.

But Jesus himself broke the law throughout the NT, so is he being a hypocrite? No. 👇🏻

My God, we are a nation of monsters. @VP Mike Pence saw these men today—384 men in a cage, who have been sleeping on concrete floors with no pillows for weeks, who say they have no toothbrushes, haven’t showered in weeks, and aren’t being fed well.

And Pence calls this “humane.”
Mike Pence sure does love to invoke the Bible when he can use it to condemn & justify hatred against LGBT people, but is really shy about using it to justify the way the Trump admin.

It’s not hard to see why. Here’s a verse from Leviticus Pence will not quote. #CloseTheCamps

Argument for him staying, which I've seen two Black journalists, Soledad O'Brien & Adam Serwer, make: if Sullivan, who is African American and a prof at Harvard law school, has to step down, it means he's facing repercussions for who he chooses to defend and this has consequences

According to Tony Robbins men apparently have no self control. So they're all like trump? Can't help themselves? How does this behavior become a
2. liability for women & not the men who are unable to behave like humans instead of animals? Any man who will not hire a woman because he finds her attractive doesn't belong in a position where he makes those choices. He probably should be locked in a cage since he's unable to
3. control himself around women. This is the single most despicable response to the #Metoo movement that I've heard. Women can't call out their abusers because If they do they're trying to make themselves significant - instead of wanting to take back their sense of self-worth
