 Ok, fellow bitcoiners, bear (or bull???) with me for a moment, I need creative help. Let's assume you are writing an article, and you want to use a single term to describe, in aggregate, the typical features of monetary goods that make them effective "across scale".
2/3 Yes, I know: such features are typically subdivided into 2 opposite types, usually in a direct trade-off: "aggregability" (or value density) & "divisibility". But both types help storability of goods across time & transferability of goods among people. I want just 1 word.
3/3. Also, let's assume you are so brain-damaged that, since you want to use this new word in a triplet w/ "hardness" & "darkness", you also want it to be similar to the other 2, preferably ending in "-ness" & of same length. But less awkward possible. Asking too much? Poll:

This is very well written, but I think it's an obvious fallacy: if Eric can figure it out, regulators can as well. When it's relevant enough to threaten monetary policies & financial surveillance, they will just close the loophole. Remember: they took 13 YEARS to shut down Egold!
E-gold launched in 1996, leveraging smart loopholes. After 13 years of activity, in 2009, when it was actually relevant, they shut it down and put its creator in jail. The fallacy is thinking that regulators are bounded to their current rulings. Read this:

Given my earlier tweet about Greta Thunberg and misogyny it is worth making some wider points about what some men believe they get to say publicly - and not so publicly. Here is one personal example from today. This is one of several emails; the others are worse. 1/
The "Thanks" in the subject line is interesting (I get that a lot). My assumption is that it's meant to suggest to me that the message is fine. I suspect my Greta tweet is part of the explanation for these emails today - they certainly all came after my tweet. 2/
Ultimately, I have seen many much worse messages than the one above; to me that's a "minor" one. Of course that's nonsense. But such is the state of this: in the big scheme of things, compared to other things I've had, the above pales. 3/

Rewatched the vice presidential debate this evening, for research purposes, and I have a few stray observations about the entire thing, so it'll go into a thread:

#2019Debate
Galadima, a former presidential candidate, fumbled his opening speech. Khadija did well. Getso did well, arguably.

Osinbajo did great too but Peter Obi clearly 'won' this round by focusing on the current government's failings.

However, both told a couple of interesting lies.
Osinbajo said, "Under that same SIP, we have the conditional cash transfer scheme, taking at least 400,000 people so far out of poverty line."

Many will argue that giving N5,000 monthly to the 'poorest of poor' doesn't exactly take them out of the poverty line.
