Hmmm…according to @daveweigel’s piece in the WaPo yesterday, this is where the Dems currently fall (Sanders made it clear in recent statements that he’s not interested in strengthening the ACA even in the short term):

@daveweigel Of course it's still confusing, because Booker, Harris & Gillibrand are co-sponsors of Bernie's #M4AllBILL, and Booker, Harris, GIllibrand and Klobuchar are co-sponsors of Warren's #ACA2.0 bill...which she seems to have abandoned (or at least hasn't been talking about lately).

📣 This is a fantastic thread. It may sound strange to hear me say that since I'm a policy wonk who sweats the details about the differences between the various Dem candidates' proposals...but that doesn't make this thread any less important.
As I noted earlier, if I was voting PURELY based on healthcare policy, I'd probably support Biden or Beto. On most other policies, I'm more in line with Warren or possibly Harris. The #1 issue, however, has to be BEATING TRUMP, period...and that's not as easy a Q to answer.
Plus, as I've also noted before, "who has the best policy" doesn't mean as much as you may think, since the POTUS can only *advocate* for their preference; the actual bill they'll be asked to sign will be passed by *Congress*: acasignups.net/19/07/16/heres…

This was exactly my point yesterday...if he’d just paid them at least $45K/yr to begin with ($15 x 60 x 50wks) he would’ve avoided this whole issue. NO ONE works less than 60 hours a week on a serious Presidential campaign.

So yesterday we took a look at Bernie's achievement through CEDO which he created(1983) instead of the planning commission. Let's take a walk though how and why CEDO was created and more of Bernie 1981-1983.

BREAKING: I have had some conversations about the ACA repeal vote and the Arizona Senate seat which I will attach as a thread here shortly.

Follow if interested.
On ACA repeal, everyone from Trump to Senate leaders have made it clear that as soon as they have the votes to repeal the ACA, they will do it.

As of a year ago, they had 49 votes for a repeal vote— one short with Pence as the tiebreaker. 2/
Since then, two things have changed. The Republicans lost a repeal vote in Alabama and the anti-repeal side lost a no vote when John McCain passed away.

Doug Jones is a clear no vote. What about Arizona...? 3/
