So @CNN blurred the faces of the Ole Miss students standing with guns in front of the bullet-ridden Emmett Till memorial, even tho they're adults & identified in the story.

Meanwhile my 16-year-old clients have their mugshots plastered all over the evening news. OK.
@CNN According to @donlemon this is because they were not able to reach the students for comment. Are you kidding me? These are not even mugshots. They posted the photo on Instagram. THEY ARE ADULTS. Why are they being protected? Rhetorical question.
@CNN @donlemon I can't even begin to list the ironies here. It's not even just protecting White men, period. It is protecting White men posing in front of a memorial to a Black child lynched by White men, like it is a trophy photo.
@CNN @donlemon Emmett Till's mother insisted he have an open casket because she wanted the world to see what the White men who lynched him did to him.
@CNN @donlemon Every time I watch @CNNTonight and they cover a story where a person of color is a suspect or arrested in a crime, I am going to make sure to @ them asking why they are not blurring out their face until they have reached them for comment.
