Socialism. Mostly Nordic-style, Democratic Socialism, but the bottom line is socialized medicine:

Nordic model socialism. My Norwegian host siblings took higher education in stride, sailing through it more smoothly than we do high school.

For Congress to be effective in investigating an uncooperative Executive Branch, it can level up its Constitutional powers.

🔹Impeachment inquiry is a way for Congress to level up.

🔹The Judiciary Committee opened an impeachment inquiry on 7/26.
The Judiciary Committee essentially told the Court: "hey, we need stuff because we're looking at impeaching Trump."

🔹That's pretty much all it takes to open an impeachment inquiry investigation.

🔹There are other ways (ie voting), which is why it's so confusing
More formally, the Judiciary Committee petitioned the court for info, stating "because it is 'investigating whether to recommend articles of impeachment' against the president."

And while single-payer systems generally include universal coverage, many countries have achieved universal coverage without using a single-payer system. Let's take a look at what the two terms mean, and some examples of how they're implemented around the world.

Universal coverage refers to a health care system where every individual has health coverage. To date, there are no less 32 countries with some for some form of universal health coverage, the first of which was Norway in 1912.

1 For those of you writing dissertations right now using #thematicanalysis some thoughts on writing up a TA study. First, justifying your choice of TA. Try not to just recite general features of TA - it's flexible, it's accessible etc. - lifted from a list in one of our papers
2 These are not intended as rationales for using TA in specific studies but as general features of TA (compared to other approaches). The trick is discussing why these features mattered for *your* study. Why was it beneficial for your study that TA is theoretically flexible?
3 How did you make use of this feature? If you didn't, don't discuss. Also hold in mind a distinction between conceptual & design rationales & pragmatic & practical rationales. The former are generally seen as more important/compelling. Accessibility falls into the pragmatic...

Department of Health secretary says this was an "internal working document" of the department and it was "absolutely inappropriate" to split aged care cuts into winners and losers.
"It was referring to the amount of subsidies provided to providers," Ms Beauchamp says. Then a fight breaks out between Helen Polley and Senator Scullion. Polley: "I would be embarrassed if I were you... no wonder you had to call a Royal Commission into your own policies."
