Here's a project I would love someone to do, but don't have sufficient time for. Catalog every campus incident that a critic of "radical" campus culture uses to illustrate their position. I would put the over/under at maybe 25 total over the last 5-8 years.
Middlebury, Oberlin, Yale halloween costumes, an inaccurate anecdote about "safe rooms" at Brown, are cited over and over again as though they're representative. Most of them are now years in the past.
Next, we can compare those incidents to ones like these compiled by @LarryGlickman, many of which are months or at least less than a year old.
@LarryGlickman Seriously, let's do a living document database of what's happening on campuses, where, and most importantly what gets cited by influential groups like Heterodox Academy or writers like Stephens and Brooks. Let's put some data to this issue and see what's what.
